My name is Rytsu out of the Milwaukee\/Chicago area<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What made you decide to produce the heaviest music possible?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Growing up, I was always deep into the dubstep and the hardcore metal scene. It felt like a natural progression. With tearout specifically, I felt like I could merge both things that I loved with each genre into one. Another reason would be the fact that, when i started making tearout, it was an entirely&nbsp;new space. I often feel like dubstep and electronic music gets oversaturated extremely&nbsp;quickly. Everyone and their mother wants to be a Heavy Dubstep DJ now and tearout was a place where I could express myself and also stand out from the crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What was your first release that made you think, \u201cI\u2019m onto something\u201d?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Honestly, it was my song Tension that I released on Shattered Records last year! (Shout out Yuja and Mazi) That song was the first proper tune where I felt like something clicked sonically with my project and I was able to use all of my musical talent at that point in time. I honestly think I ulted on that last drop. The sustains and third drop in that song is just&nbsp; *Chef&#8217;s kiss*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What makes a tearout track stand out from the thousands released every year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">God. This is a tough one with so many songs coming out and so many people copying each other&#8217;s&nbsp;&#8220;Style&#8221;. I think what makes a song original&nbsp;is just the passion that goes behind it. I can tell when listening to a song if it was made with genuine care and intention versus trying to make the song just to get a lot&nbsp;of plays or &#8220;make it big&#8221;. Honestly, the ones that aren&#8217;t&nbsp;made with passion just kinda bleed into the background for me.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do you have any unusual production habits?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Not really! The process for music production is so individual&nbsp;that it&#8217;s hard to pinpoint&nbsp;what is &#8220;odd&#8221;. Sometimes for tracking vocals, specifically for layering, I will stand in the way back to my room in the effort to get natural reverb from my untreated apartment. I don&#8217;t&nbsp;know! I really just throw shit at the wall until it sticks and I say hell yeah.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What\u2019s your biggest creative block, and how do you overcome it?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Honestly, it&#8217;s perfectionism and knowing when to stop. That usually is a result of ear fatigue or just being over a track. I will finish a tune then make 30 different versions of it and then just say fuck it and release the song. It&#8217;s a hard thing to overcome when the scene is so plagued with ego, brutal opinions and harsh eyes. Confidence in my abilities helps though!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Favorite video game?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Currently? I have been grinding on Deadlock and getting back into Destiny. Those have been taking up my life when i&#8217;m not doing normal everyday things. Of all time though? I think that Shadow of the Colossus is way up there.&nbsp; That may be number&nbsp;one just due to the sound track. Pokemon diamond is on that list and also, a deep cut here, Gurumin is a banger and always will be. OH! Smash bros melee also. That game took years off my life.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dream collaboration?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Nexu5, Nimda, secrecy, dveight, D&#8217;lion, punishment. This list can go on for a while<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What\u2019s something fans don\u2019t know about you?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I am only 5 inches shorter than Shaq and I also know almost 5 languages. I also co-run a collective of artists with my buddy Rekotrol out of Wisconsin called The Circle!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What\u2019s your biggest goal in the next year?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Honestly, to release more and push the riddim\/tearout scene here in wisconsin.
